For someone to take on the role of Maurice Jobson, I would like to choose, David Suchet, mainly because he has that experienced like nature as he is a police superintendent. This is noted when Maurice takes the stage for the briefing of the investigation of a 10 year old victim as well as having Hadley.

Location changes for the scene: Chatham to Maidstone Motorway ( Some parts of the motorway has no barriers which can be used to simulate the motorways back in the 1980s), Maidstone Police Station (The Architecture of the police station matches with the 1970s-80s architectural style), Maidstone for the main city replacing leeds (though Maidstone is slightly more modern than 19080s leeds, Maidstone is the closest to having that 1980s-1990s atmosphere despite a few new structures)
