Amy Sherman Palladino

Amy Sherman Palladino is a writer as well as daughter to Don Sherman who was a famous comedian at the time. Amy was well known for her screenwriting in the famous series "The gilmore Girls". Amy was a dancer due to her mother's dancing careers before she decided to leave behind her dancing career and took up writing for television programmes though her mother was strongly against the idea of having her daughter leave the dancing industry.
Amy is also known for her screen play for shows like Bunseat, Roseanne and Victoria's closet. Amy's screenwriting for the Gilmore Girls have "Ushered a new era of smart family programming" where background characters who "had interests outside of men and could talk wicked fast to book".
I'm not a massive fan of the Gilmore girls in general, however with the way the pilot script was developed I immediately found it interesting with the location and the style the script played out. My initial thoughts for the idea began to gain momentum after reading the teaser for the pilot episode. It was thanks to this script That I began developing a cafe like location for my idea. I like how the scenario went in terms of dialogue. The dialogue are short and snappy with some dialgoue containing oneworded answers and heavily reflects upon the meeting of 2 people at a cafe. This thelped me greatly on how I might develop my own script for the project. This script has heavily inspired me to develop further on the sort of scenario and location for the project.

Chris Carter
Chris Carter is a writer born in Bellflower, California on October 13th 1956. He is the screenwriter forone of the scripts I stumbled upon for the The X Files. Chris carter is a University graduate at the California State University with a Journalism degree whch led him to becoming a freelance Journalist and editor for the Sufing Magazine. His screenwriting Career at The Walt Disney Studios in 1985 and 7 years later in 1992 began developing projects which brought the creation of The X files for Twentieth Century Fox Television. Chris has recieved 3 golden globe awards in 1994, 1996, 1997 respectively, 2 Directors Guild nominations,,an Emmy Award Nomination and a Wtiters Guild nomination for his devlopment of The X Files.
Chris Carter has also been involved in other productions as a screenwriter including, The Lone Gunmen, Harsh Realm, Millenium, The After and many others. However, he is mainly know due to his work onThe X Files that attracted a lot of attention and was graded on IMDB with a 8.7/10 with a modern remake coming next year.
His work for the x files have somewhat inspired me in terms of the genre of an action and thriller. Though the X files is more supernatural and sci-fi, the use of important individuals like the FBI and the atmosphere of investigation gave me a small amount of inspiration for one of the characters. In terms of the script itself interms of screenwriting, I wasn't that inspired by the style of screenwriting for the idea I had in mind but mainly the attitudes coming out of the characters (the FBI), because their serious and calculating, state of mind gave me the personality framework for one of the characters I had in mind.
